Dessert~ In the Raw

This weekend mix up this simple yet tasty vegan dessert.  Your family and friends will love you for it!  We have tried it and we can say these are delicious!

  • 1/2 cup of raw Walnuts
  • 3/4 cup of Dates, pitted
  • 2 Tbs Almond Butter
  • 1/4 Cup Cocoa Powder
  • Optional: Scoop of Protein ~ this makes it a great post workout recovery snack!


In a food processor, pulse walnuts until fine. Next, add dates and continue pulsing until a paste forms. Add remaining ingredients, allowing everything to combine nicely. Once mixture is dough-like, spread evenly on wax paper and cut into 2″ squares. If you prefer, you can also roll these into balls!
